Longer City Hall hours. Encourage larger lots to preserve the things most of us
r moved out here for.
Animal control. Additional weather sirens.
Better management of the school system, decreased taxes.
Medical technicians on ambulances like White Bear Lake.
A plan that retains some areas for 1 acre and larger lots. Leave some areas
undeveloped for parks/wildlife.
Better side streets.
Roads to Main Street from 35W.
More kid play areas. A baseball diamond in southern Lino Lakes near Birch
Street.
Safe place to walk to exercise. Sidewalks around Centerville Lake.
More community happenings--Miss Lino Lakes. Good publicity for community.
Our own Jr. & Sr. High.
Hardware store.
Every year you try and increase more government control on people. Spend too
much money on city government. Don't you think people like to live in a rural
area?
Develop a program to improve the lakes.
More community involvement concerning decisions that are affect all of us.
Diseased tree program.
Community development, not industrial development.
Family restaurants. Tom Thumb is great, but we need other retailers.
Better tax base without destroying wetlands.
An ordinance for 6' wood or any non-chain link fence around residential pools.
Less commercialism; more cross-country ski trails.
A better image. We need a policy, strictly enforced to clean up the junk cars and
provide storage for boats, fish houses, and other eyesores that otherwise
detract from a beautiful community.
Roads connecting the SE area with 1-35E.
Activities that will bring community together.
White Castle restaurant.
Separately zoned industrial park to improve tax base.
Road maintenance.
Bigger school.
Place for walkers/bikers/X-C skiiers to enjoy nature. Almost struck down by a
snowmobile last year. Police ought to enforce trail speed limits.
More emphasis on current residents. Less commercialized.
Street cleaning in West Oaks area. Have not cleaned up sand from winter
plowing.
A good fire department. Move tanker trucks. Mowing ditches more often.
Nicer police, better streets.
Fewer hunters. None in residential areas.
Road names changed.
43
