Combine efforts, resources and zoning with other 3 towns!
Class. (New const. - dumpy homes real near) Take pride. Clean up our town.
Tax base. I grew up here and for the timebeing I can't move. We have become
so inundated with people and the pettyness they inspire, that freedom and
individual responsibility have become virtually non-existent.
An identity as a community to be proud of.
A group on board that would clean =the community. We don't pay taxes to live
in a waste site. Too many homes in this area are allowed to have yards filled
with junk! Conscientious residents have to live next door to people who have
junkers parked all over -- Bobcats, tractors, trailers, etc. -- piles of tires,
shopping carts, just junk.
Off road recreational vehicle trail system with campgrounds. This part of the
state needs something like this.
Street Liohts!!!
I think Lino Lakes really needs a pool hall or somewhere teens can play pool.
More community user facilities.
Business incentives.
To be sure our building development does not mean the loss of the above
(natural environment).
Mandatory landscaping of new development in 1 st year.
More street lights on main street.
A good place where people can take their pets for a walk without the
' disturbance of an automobile.
Dog catcher.
Clean up the houses on Lake Drive. It appears to non-residents as dumpy little
town. They don't see the good areas.
Lino Lakes is full of junk cars wherever you look, even in the new construction
areas. Increase the power, get rid of junk cars. Look at the junk yards on
Elm Street.
Municipal rubbish service that will take mattresses, etc. for the same monthly
fee. Used tire recycling center (free). Lower taxes. Evening and weekend bus
service. Outdoor burning of brush and branches.
To listen to the people.
In our area we are in dire need of street cleaning. I feel the West Oaks area pays
the most tax and is totally neglected in sweeping the streets and other matters.
More equal building in all areas instead of just parts of the city.
Fewer city services, lower taxes, less growth.
Civil defense warning sirens.
More emphasis on keeping Lino Lakes a nice place to live, not just another
highly developed extension of the city.
$ Money to treat oak wilt now!!!
Light industrial development to create more jobs in the area and improve tax
base.
Stricter/more law enforcement/library.
46
