A better high school and a new image. (It has a rather low class one at the
moment.)
If you want our city to grow you must mold with the business sector.
Tornado warning sirens.
Town's main street face lift (Lake Drive).
Fast food restaurants.
Chinese restaurant.
Annual town picnic/get together.
Little less desire to be a "city." I don't need sewer, water, and a
motel/apartments, etc. next door.
Moving ahead with affordability in mind.
We need a chipper for branches.
More retail stores.
Business. Need a facelift, looks junky. No pole barns.
Lino Lakes needs 30 mph speed limit signs. Where it is taken for granted that
the operator is supposed to drive 30 mph they don't. Put some radar on
Sumise before a kid gets killed.
An ordinance notifying by mail all property owners of public hearings that affect
property within 1/2 mile of proposed rezoning.
A place for school age kids to "hang around" but yet be supervised so they don't
get in trouble. Approving "pole bldg." especially with brick fronts. After all,
they don't need painting or much upkeep and look nice for businesses or storag .
^ Better zoning laws, all properties should be 1 acre lot minimum unless you have
sewer and water in.
To include the southern portion of the village in some of the perks--parks, walking
trails, etc.
A path or street connecting Jeanne Drive to Lenard!
Less home development - more people brings need for more public service
bringing higher taxes.
Council members who listen and care about citizens needs, not what they would
like to see happen for the developers.
Lino Lakes really needs to stay a nice underdeveloped area so we can enjoy
wildlife and openess.
More activities for adults--softball, ice skating.
We need industry and to attract it we need city water and sewer to be available.
A bedroom community does not generate enough taxes to meet the demands
for the services they ask for. We are already taxed to the hilt. The school
burden is killing us.
Competent, complete, one-pass snowplowing. Higher police visibility. Get rid of
unmarked squads. Show burglars they are in the neighborhoods, not the
cafes.
People on the Council who realize that no matter the cost we need sewer to
14ON attract industry.
More 5 acre plots of land--not so much housing development on city-size lots.
Cleaner lakes.
47
