Stiffer dog control and speed control on 49.
To keep amphitheater out!
Parts of Lino Lakes looks like a scrap yard.
A Council that understands why people would live out here. Have the space
around their own homes for their own recreation.
Good quality park system with walking trails, bicycle trails and more activities for
families.
Very careful development. It is important that it does not become just another
crowded suburb. With poor zoning and little or no open space. If industry
is brought in it should be kept away from residential areas. Maintain open
space.
Stop and go lights on Main Street and Lake Drive.
A city plan, the development of Lino Lakes seems to be somewhat haphazard.
We need a plan for the type of housing, business, and parks. I would like to
see a park system running throughout the city like other communities have; i.e.,
Eden Prairie, etc.
Reduced speed on some sections of 85th Street. Maintain more wildlife area.
Less money spent on police.
At this time there is no apparent effort to efficient community development. P&Z
and City Council are anti progress and "rookies" at running a city that is ready
for organized growth. I walk all over the 7 county area and am hard pressed
to find anything good about Lino Lakes compared to other suburbs. I am not
being negative, just honest. The Anoka County Park is the only bright spot on
a dismal horizon.
Ice rink at Lino Elementary School.
Some industry - non-polluting.
Council members who realize this is the twentieth century. Lino Lakes cannot
survive as a bedroom community. Why have the Council and P&Z allowed
private homes to be built along Lake Drive?
Road construction.
Professional city government that can look beyond their selfish prejudices and
do what is best for the community. It does not serve any purpose to a
commercial piece of property; i.e., Lake Drive north of Schwan's, other than
to show "who's got the power."
To replace my two 40+ year old trees cut down to put in a trunk sewer that I
cannot use!
Speed limit sign on Black Duck Drive. Strictly enforced speed limit on Birch
Street.
Post Office, less theft & vandalism, better school system and bus company.
Is there a problem with the housing code? Our neighbor seems to be making
arrangements to move in a house without adequace acreage.
More playgrounds.
Less police/better roads.
A decent grocery store and a facelift. Clean up all the junk cars. It looks like hell
and get Lee's a new look.
50
