Stop lights at the intersection of 49 and Lake Drive. I wonder how many
n accidents have happened there.
Night time recreation such as softball leagues, vollelball leagues, broomball.
To keep Lino Lakes near or at its present level of urban/rural balance, avoiding
extensive development and subsequent restrictive statutes reducing rural
lifestyle.
Freeway interchange at #14 and 35W, also 35W and Sunset.
To stay the same. Do not over grow. That is why we moved out of Coon
Rapids.
Planned, controlled growth with plenty of park land/green space in between
development -- I don't want to see growth just for the sake of growth. Let's
make sure it profits all of our community.
More parks and playgrounds and better tasting and smelling water.
Not to be turned into another crowded suburb like Blaine.
More freedom to raise animals on small acreage (2 acres)
More citizen participation in decision making.
A full service ALS ambulance (bring back Health Central). A new police chief and
all new officers.
A Council that will let some business into the city, and why do kids have to go out
of the city for entertainment.
More playgrounds
Some big bus. to lower taxes. But you need sewer before you can get big bus.
More bang for the buck! Lino Lakes has one of the highest tax rates around
and yet the schools, park, and public facilities and services no way compare
to neighboring communities; i.e., Shoreview, Roseville.
To think about keeping the area clean and not making area residents pay for ?
the housing developers should pay; ex., water.
Nothing right now. We built here because land was cheap and we were young.
If city sewer would come in it would make Lino Lakes a more desirable place.
To forget the park system. People in Lino do not use it anyway.
Road repair from Co. Rd. J to 35 from 49. Restaurants. Youth entertainment
facilities.
Long range development not trying to change the city in Minnneapolis overnight.
Car parts store, new and old cars, snowmobile shops.
Tight restrictions on land development to preserve wetlands, not to fill in swamps
for housing.
More "family" type activities; i.e., park programs, restaurants.
A city government that does not push for more industry.
Street naming system. I happen to have lots of problems because my address
and the one next block over is Drive or Lane -- to hard for post office to note.
Lights in parks please.
A fire station to cover the southeast section.
Clean up existing parks. A leash law for cats.
Sewer & water. Optional tie for existing houses but new must tie on.
Roads in pretty rough shape around here.
49
