PROJECT COSTS:
The overall cost of a 400 randomly selected household telephone
survey of sixty question units length would be $4 ,800.00. Eauh
additional question unit beyond sixty would cost $60.00. The
sample size of 400 will permit the results to be broken down into
subgroups of interest , such as location of residence, longevity ,
occupation, age, and so forth . Prior surveys for cities have ruri
between sixty and one-hundred forty question units, with no
difficulty in "hang-ups" because of questionnaire length .
Company policy requires fifty percent of the total cost prior to
the commencement of any interviewing ; the remainder would be di-te
at the time of the delivery of, the bound written reports.
I hope this proposal sufficiently covers the parameters of t I I e
Lino Lakes Recreational Attitudes Study . For your possible
information, I have also included several materials about DfRL ,
its clients, and a sample of a study undertaken iri the City of
Eagan. ( That study focused not only on general recreational
information but also the feasibility of a Community Recreation
Center bond referendum. ) If you have any further questions ,
please feel free to contact me.
i- Sincerely ,
illiam D.
