Lino Lakes needs more park money. The current budget
proposal is for $23, 000 of capital improvements . That ' s
not much for park improvements when you take into
account the fact that 150 houses were built in Lino
Lakes in 1987 . The $23, 000 doesn' t do much for the 500
new residents .
2. There are several plats about to be filed with the city.
If Lino Lakes wants to increase its park dedication
requirements it should do so quickly.
3 . The city should not change the ten percent land
requirement for commercial and industrial property.
4. The city should keep the ten percent land requirement
for single family development .
