Page - 3 - Park Board Minutes <br /> gravel in to prevent dusting from the main road to the <br /> beach. <br /> The County will continue to seek out funds to complete a ' <br /> store and activities room. These are plans the county will <br /> see through. They are thinking of holding a private fund <br /> raiser in hope of making a profit to complete the <br /> campgrounds. The county would also like to build a nature <br /> center with day camping. They also would like to expand <br /> picnic tables around Centerville Lake. <br /> This project will take all this Summer. On February 12th <br /> the county will open bidding for this project . It should be <br /> done this fall . <br /> Camping will be available in the winter months. In the <br /> Summer the park is expected to have full occupancy. This <br /> project should make money for the county and the surrounding <br /> area when completed. Anoka County will run a full campaign <br /> in 1989 on this park area to promote it , and Dave said this <br /> park should be the best in Anoka County! <br /> FEES FOR CONTACT STATION: <br /> $ 2. 00/car $ 1 . 00/car for seniors <br /> 15. 00/annual fee $10 . 00/annual fee for <br /> seniors <br /> Additional fee for campgrounds/Additional fee for golf <br /> course. <br /> Walking and hiking trails will be developed along with the <br /> nature center and finished driveways . Backstops for playing <br /> softball will also be available, but nothing for a full <br /> fledged recreational area. <br /> There are no established rules for the campgrounds as of <br /> yet . The county is looking to revise old rules and <br /> regulations. We need to have more detailed rules . <br /> Dave also said he talked with Oberstar and Durenberger <br /> regarding a new interchange in the area. They are willing <br /> to talk about it , and work out some kind of arrangement . They would aid in preparation of the questions , <br />
