Discussion: Money received from Anoka County for Right- of-Way on Main Street Improvement adjacent to City Hall Municipal Park, and what account did the money go into from this transaction. Need for updated map of the City Hall Municipal Park * Country Lakes Park : Parkboard members will be getting an amended version of this park . Further discussion will take place on these parks when Don Volk revises a few maps . OPEN MIKE : Scott Rubbelke - 7519 Jeannie Drive Lino Lakes discussed his concern regarding the Bradley Walkway connecting Jeannie Drive and Leonard. Scotts main concern was if there would be water problems because the land there is very low. His second concern was that there have been quite a few robberies in their area, and the walkway would create easy accessability to their homes . Don Volk told him it ' s not a certain plan yet . There will be more discussion on the proposed walkway. CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN: There was discussion regarding planting trees and shrubs and the need for money to do this . The parks need to have shade in them too ! Chairman Ray Johnson said it ' s hard to keep the shrubs once they are planted. Being we' re in a rural community we have a problem with cars running over them and kids destroying them on purpose. Questions were raised regarding our own nursery and what the stock consists of. Don Volk reassured the Board that it would be at least 5-6 years before our nursery is productive. At this time we are just putting in seedlings . The Board wants estimates on fencing for their parks . Don Volk will come back to our next Park Board meeting with a dollar $ amount more realistic: on our capital improvements plan . OLD BUSINESS : A) Budget Update: postponed until next. Park Board meeting. B) Park Dedication Ordinance: Effective January - Council didn ' t have a problem with this .
