Park Dedication will be met in phase <br /> 2 by claiming a 5 acre parcel to be brought to grade for a park. <br /> This 5 acre parcel surrounds a pond consisting of 3 .3 acres. Trails <br /> noted on the preliminary plat will also be brought to grade and <br /> graveled. Grading of the park will be accomplished when grading of <br /> phase 2 begins. <br /> option #2 to be accepted only if Option #1 is in some way not <br /> legally feasible to do. <br /> John Bauman seconded the motion and the motion was approved <br /> unanimously. " <br /> (A copy of those park board minutes are attached at the end of <br /> these minutes. ) <br /> Comp Plan - Marty Asleson reported that there has been no response <br /> 00"*N by the viewing audience, either by phone or mail, regarding the <br /> Public Hearing on the Comprehensive Park Plan held on July 1, 1992. <br /> Jeff Schoenbauer states that in his experience this is not unusual. <br /> He explained that the plan does prove useful and come in to play <br /> when residents call and inquire about parks in their area. <br /> The Comprehensive Park Plan will be added as part of the City <br /> Comprehensive Plan. The next step will be to go to the City <br /> Council in resolution form, then on to the Metropolitan Council for <br /> approval as part of our City Comprehensive Plan. This is a flexible <br /> document and can be changed and moved around if the need be. <br /> PARRS/FACILITIES UPDATE: <br /> Lighting for Lino and Country Lakes Parks - As was discussed at <br /> previous meetings, the board would like to put lighting in at <br /> Country Lakes and Lino Parks in order to use these parks for night <br /> skating programs. Marty Asleson has gotten quotes on this. <br /> Remington Electric has quoted $11,718. for electric for both parks. <br /> MOTION: - Ray Johnson made a motion to do the electrical work as <br /> per the quote.
