c
Public Hearing
--i July 1, 1992
input. Jeff Schoenbauer replied that the planning process is to be
followed by the Park Board as well as staff.
Diane Aras, 6450 Baldwin Lake Road addressed the board. She and her
husband own 10 and 1/4 acres on Baldwin Lake Road, just north of
the south entrance into the regional park. This piece of property
has been of interest to the Park Board as it is property that the
comprehensive study shows should be acquired for future park
development. Staff had previously approached the Aras' regarding
the purchase of two plus acres here. Mrs. Aras wanted it to be a
matter of record that she inform the board that they expect to be
developing this property within the next year or so, and if the
City plans on purchasing, they should be doing so soon.
Don Volk addressed those residents at home who would be viewing
this Public Hearing on cable tonight. He suggested that if any
resident has comments to please call either him or Marty Asleson at
City Hall, or send their written comments in to either of them. He
noted that this is an ever changing community and therefore an ever
changing plan, but with this plan the City has a legitimate
document to work from.
There were no other comments. John Bauman made a motion to close
the Public Hearing. It was seconded by Jacquelyn Farm. The Public
Hearing was closed at 7:50 PM.
The special meeting was adjourned at 7:50 PM.
2
