Board Member Robinson volunteered to chair this meeting of the Board as all other members were new. He stated that he would not be interested in the chairmanship except possibly as a co-chair and suggested that the Board meet prior to the next regular meeting to select a chair. All members agreed. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Schaps moved and was supported by Landers to approve the minutes of the March 11, 1991 meeting of the Board. All voted aye. Motion carried. OPEN MIKE: No comments. ITEM 4 - P&Z 92-03 MINOR SUBDIVISION - ULMER'S RICE LAKE ADDITION - JACK MINKVELD Planning Consultant Brixius reviewed the staff report and explained that this is a request to subdivide an 11, 065 square foot parcel from a 2 . 2 acre (approximately) parcel in Ulmer's Rice Lake Addition. The property is zoned R-1 Single Family Residential and the lot conforms to the requirements of the Code. Staff would recommend approval of the request with the conditions outlined in the staff report. Robinson asked why the property owner was being required to hook up to sanitary sewer and was advised by Brixius that although staff recommends hook up, we can be flexible on this requirement. Robinson also asked why the existing house was not shown on the plan and was advised by the applicant that it was an oversight by the surveyor and would be on the plan submitted to Council.
