• <br /> • Volunteer Program Guidelines:identifies a number of volunteer opportunities associated with parks and <br /> recreation and defines the framework necessary for their successful implementation. <br /> • Park Maintenance Procedures/Guidelines:defines the importance of the maintenance operation and <br /> identifies ways in which it can be done as effectively and efficiently as possible. <br /> • Park Design And Development Guidelines:defines the standard procedures for undertaking the planning <br /> and design of any given park development project. <br /> • Tree Preservation Policy Guidelines:in this case,the City's recently developed policies will be referenced. <br /> • Water Quality Program Guidelines: provides an overview of the water quality problem as it relates to <br /> parks and recreation and establishes a set of general parameters which provide impetus for further <br /> action. <br /> Task II - Financing Sources for Park Land Dedication and Development <br /> This task deals with defining the financing sources that are available to the City for park land acquisition and <br /> development. The scope of this task would include: <br /> identifying and defining financing sources under several funding categories. <br /> The categories include: <br /> • Local Initiatives <br /> • Debt Financing <br /> • Intergovernmental Sources <br /> Completion of this task will involve a meeting(s)with the City's financial director to identify funding sources or <br /> limitations that may be unique to the City. <br /> This task is of particular importance because it impacts the manner in which the implementation plan is prepared <br /> and presented. <br /> Fee Schedule for Expanded Services <br /> The following defines the anticipated fees associated with the additional work tasks as defined above.As with <br /> the current contract, fees would be on a not-to-exceed basis using the charge-out rates defined in the contract. <br /> Fee Schedule: <br /> Task 1: Administrative/Management Framework $1,900 <br /> Task Il:Financing Sources for Park Land <br /> Acquisition and Development $ 700 <br /> Total Fee Estimate For Additional Tasks: $2,600 <br /> January 13, 1992 2 City of Lino Lakes <br />
