Scope of Services Proposal Parks & Recreation Department for Country Lakes Park City of Lino Lakes Scope of Services for Task V- Master Planning and Cost Estimate Country Lakes Park Master Plan (cont.) Overview.Using the adopted program, site analysis information,base mapping, adopted concept plan,and general knowledge about the project, Brauer & Associates, Ltd. will prepare a Master Plan which represents the design solution that best addresses the needs and desires of the community. A cost estimate will be prepared to illustrate the anticipated costs associated with each component of the Master Plan. Work Tasks: • review and analysis of previous findings. • preparation of a Preliminary Master Plan and cost estimate. This plan essentially refines the accepted concept plan, clearly illustrates the relationship of each use, activity area, and facilities/site amenities, and makes sure no issues remain to be discussed. • review meeting with the Advisory Committee, city staff, and, if desired, the public. • preparation of a Final Master Plan based upon the accepted Preliminary Master Plan. This basically "hardlines" the Preliminary Master Plan after all final revisions or adjustments have been made. Final adjustments will be made to the cost estimate as warranted. • submit the Final Master Plan to the Advisory Committee and city staff for final approval of the Master Plan. �.y • Final Master Plan presented to the City Council for approval. • preparation of written and graphic documentation including a Final Master Plan graphic(s). Task Product: a final report will be produced including the Master Plan graphic and other support graphics and written text. Fee Proposal The following fee relates directly to the approach outlined under the above scope of services. Total Not-To-Exceed Fee: $4,000.00 Direct expenses are included in the fee proposal and include: mileage, telephone/fax costs, day-today reproduction costs, etc. Coping and printing expenses related to reproducing the final document are not included. Hourly Fee Schedule The following defines the hourly fee schedule for this project. Principle Landscape Architect $60.00/Hr Project Landscape Architect $50.00/Hr Naturalist/Wildlife Specialist $45.00/Hr Technical Staff $35.00/Hr Brauer & Associates, Ltd_ 3
