Please see plate 20 of the Comprehensive <br /> Plan. The need has been further established,by a neighborhood group <br /> appearance and a petition at a recent park board meeting. A mini- <br /> park is desired in the neighborhood to tempora <br /> rily provide a <br /> neighborhood park until the approximately 6 acres can be acquired <br /> to the south. A trail access to the regional park is also <br /> important The developer for The Woods of Baldwin Lake is proposing <br /> to dedicate the lot on the east side of the development as their <br /> park dedication. <br /> OPTIONS <br /> 1. Accept the park and trail dedication as per <br /> proposal. Continue to pursue additional land as per Comprehensive <br /> Plan needs <br /> 2 . Deny land dedication - accept dollar dedication <br /> and use to purchase land elsewhere. <br /> 3. Accept cash dedication to be used as per other <br /> priorities as set forth in the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept the park and trail dedication as per <br /> proposal. Continue to pursue additional land as per comprehensive` <br /> needs. <br />
