AGENDA ITEM 4
.f.
MEMORANDUM
TO: Lino Lakes Park and Recreation Board
FROM: Marty Asleson
DATE: January 26, 1993
SUBJECT: Brandywood Trail Permit
Please find attached copies of the correspondence that we had with
the Department of Natural Resources concerning the trail access
into Brandywood park at the platted north entrance. As I
referenced in the Shores of Marshan Lake memo, there has been an
appeal on a similar trail in another city. If the appeal is in
favor of the city than we could expect to be able to culvert the
two crossings in Brandywood.
In the mean time I have asked SEH to give us a budget for the
design and expediting of the boardwalk permit. I will also ask
Brauer and Associates to submit a similar budget. It my
understanding that in the Brandywood Second Addition, it is the
cities responsibility to design and contract for the wetland
crossings, and the costs will be assessed to the Brandywood
project.
r
r
