PARK BOARD OCTOBER 7, 1987 <br /> The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes Park Board was called <br /> to order at 7: 00 p.m. by Chairman Ray Johnson Wednesday, <br /> October 7 , 1987 at the Lino Lakes City Hall . Members <br /> present : Chairman Ray Johnson, Ken Johnson, George Lindy, <br /> Bob Williams, Candy Toffoli and John Bauman. Harold Bisel, <br /> Liaison for City Council, Don Volk, Public Works Director <br /> and Connie Husby, Secretary were also present . <br /> Members not present were: Bill Nissen was absent. <br /> CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES: September 8, 1987 George Lindy <br /> made correction in minutes as per Bill Nissen. The <br /> statement regarding the parks not being opened on one day <br /> over Labor Day weekend, should be, it was never opened over <br /> Labor Day weekend. <br /> MOTION: Mr. Lindy made motion for correction in minutes as <br /> corrected. Bob Williams seconded the motion and the motion <br /> was carried unanimously. <br /> WALKWAY - SUNSET OAKS PARK - Summary Don Volk discussed. <br /> Bradley Walkway - Issue regarding the continuation of <br /> Bradley Street between Jeanne Drive and Leonard Avenue. <br /> Residents petitioned for walkway to be put in. <br /> * Grass walkway - maintenance would be higher cost <br /> * Savings of $900. 00 on estimate <br /> * No fencing cost yet <br /> Chairman Ray Johnson commented on petition signed by <br /> neighborhood. He said all names were verified and correct. <br /> Bob Williams questioned width of walkway and the possibility <br /> of fencing going in? Also, is Bradley Street going to be a <br /> street in the future? Chairman Ray Johnson said, the <br /> walkway is not budgeted in the 1987 Capitol Outlay budget . <br /> MOTION: Ray Johnson moved to table this until the January <br /> meeting, and he will try to work it in his budget . No <br /> second on this motion. <br /> LAMOTTE PARK: Mr. Kent Roessler proposes to take a seven <br /> acre parcel and split it into fifteen lots. This is a <br /> proposed subdivision by the Centerville/Lino Lakes boarder. <br /> Mr. Roessler is proposing a trade for the parcel of LaMotte <br /> Park and in return give part of their subdivision for Park. <br />
