Bill Nissen brought up an issue regarding agreement with the <br /> Police Department to open parks upon weekends . He would <br /> like to know if there is a problem with this arrangement . <br /> Parks should be opened and closed at a certain time. Country <br /> Lakes Park was never opened for Labor day. <br /> APPOINTMENT REPRESENT PARK BOARD ON JOINT COMMUNITY <br /> RECREATION PARK COMMITTEE <br /> Chairman Johnson noted this appointment was made at the July <br /> 6th Park Board meeting. Mr. Ken Johnson will represent Lino <br /> Lakes . <br /> Ray Johnson would like to know about bids on school <br /> property/park property. Mr. Volk will have to get this <br /> information . <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Harold Bisel mentioned concern over the proposed <br /> amphitheatre and what effect it will have on Sunrise Park. <br /> Lino Lakes has sent letters of concern to Blaine on this <br /> matter. <br /> Ray Johnson reported, the Lions Club will build four more <br /> picnic tables for our parks . Mr. Schumacher suggested <br /> writing thank you letters regarding this matter. <br /> Ray Johnson also said the VFW and Lions club donated <br /> bullet-proof vests to our Police Department . <br /> The meeting adjourned at 9: 00 P.
