December 1 , 1986 Page 3 PARK BOARD <br /> Mr. Uhde told the Board that this was the kind of direction <br /> he needed from the Board and would have his plat revised to <br /> include the "informal field areas" and accesses as discussed <br /> .+.o in addition to the skating rink and tennis courts . The <br /> Board thanked Mr. Uhde for presenting an actual park plan <br /> rather than the usual approach of "pick a couple lots from <br /> the undesirable leftovers" . Mr. Uhde said he would be <br /> prepared for a later meeting of the Park Board with his <br /> revised park plan. <br /> HARDWICK/BANCROFT MINOR SUBDIVISION <br /> The Board reviewed this subdivision calling for splitting <br /> off ten acres from an approximate 60 acre parcel . It was <br /> felt appropriate to request $160 as park dedication for this <br /> subdivision in accordance with the present park dedication <br /> ordinance. <br /> MOTION: Ken moved to recommend to Council acceptance of <br /> $160 as satisfaction of park dedication for this <br /> subdivision. Motion seconded by Mr. Lindy and carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> VANDALISM REPORTS <br /> Mr. Volk stated that the damage done to trees and turf at. <br /> Sunrise Park as reported on 11/25,/86 totaled approximately <br /> $400 . <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> None. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Ray Johnson asked that the letter to the City of St . Paul <br /> regarding the Baldwin Lake property purchase offer be sent <br /> to the Boardmembers with these minutes . <br /> Mr. Volk said the Lawcon grant people will inspect Country <br /> Lakes Park on December 2 , 1986. <br /> Ray Johnson asked that "Capital Improvements Plan" be <br /> included on the next agenda as a discussion item. <br /> Mr. Nissen reported that 4-wheel drive vehicles are getting <br /> into Country Lakes Park by driving around the gate. Mr. <br /> Volk said he was aware of this problem and is trying to <br /> alleviate this problem. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 8: 37 . Aye. <br />
