PARR BOARD MEETING
November 3, 1986
Page Three
PARR DEDICATION ORDINANCE PROPOSAL
The ordinance proposal has been sent to the City Attorney
but no response has been received to date. A decision was
made to change the wording of Option B of the proposed
ordinance to : 10% of the total land acreage in the develop-
ment deeded to the City. Randy Schumacher was asked to
notify the City Attorney of this change and request the
attorney' s decision so it may be incl_ ied with the mailing
of November 3rd ' s minutes to Park Board members . The Park
Board would like to review any changes suggested by the
City Attorney before the Council reviews the proposal.
VANDALISM REPORTS
None
OLD BUSINESS
None
NEW BUSINESS
Co u.rs e.
1. Fitness C-ems:, There was some discussion on the
popularity of fitness eWla- c-and the possibility of planning
one in Lino Lakes. Bill Nissen will research the idea.
2. Gary Uhde Plat: Don Volk presented a map of a pro-
posed development by Regency Homes-Gary Uhde. This is an
80-acre development located north of Colonial Woods off of
Birch Street (by the tower) . The area will require rezoning
and city utilities. Expect negotiations to soon begin be-
tween Mr. Uhde and the Park Board regarding Park dedication.
The Lino Lakes Comp Plan does indicate a community playfield
is needed south of the Black Duck subdivision. Mr. Uhde
may be interested in the possibility of a "developed park"
within his subdivision.
3. Warming House: Don Volk reported on the new ac-
quisition of a semi-permanent warming house to be located
behind City Hall.
Meeting adjourned at 8 :40 P.M. Aye.
