PARK BOARD <br /> January 6 , 1986 <br /> Page Four <br /> Within each boardmember' s packet was a rough draft of the capital <br /> improvements plan put together at the 11 /4/85 meeting . The Board <br /> reviewed the draft . MOTION : Mr . Flannery moved to approve the <br /> capital improvements plan as written . Motion seconded by Mr . Ray <br /> Johnson and carried unanimously . <br /> The secretary was asked to send a copy of the approved 1986 budget <br /> for parks to each boardmember . <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> There was no old business . <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> D. Erickson Home Builder ' s Proposed Plat - Mr . Schumacher showed <br /> the Park Board , for their information , a copy of the proposed <br /> plat for approximately 100 new homes , just across Birch Street <br /> from Lakes Addition . He explained that the builder is proposing <br /> sewered lots and that consideration of this proposal will begin <br /> soon and will probably take some time before approval . <br /> Ramsey County - Otter Lake - Mr . Volk handed out a copy of a letter <br /> ^N from the Planning Supervisor for Ramsey County which asks if Lino <br /> Lakes has any plans for a public boat access on Otter Lake , since <br /> they are currently working on a plan for Otter Lake Regional Park. <br /> The Park Board gave Mr. Volk permission to respond , informing Ramsey <br /> County that Lino Lakes does not have plans for a boat access on <br /> Otter Lake. <br /> Park Dedication Ordinance - Chairman Johnson asked what transpired <br /> from the concern expressed by the Planning and Zoning Board with <br /> regard to the park dedication ordinance which was reviewed by P & Z <br /> at their last meeting . He thought, from reading the P & Z minutes , <br /> that there seemed to be some misunderstanding of this ordinance . <br /> Mr. Schumacher said that the 12/23/85 Council approved the park <br /> dedication ordinance , with the only change being to the last <br /> sentence of the ordinance which speaks to when fees must be paid , <br /> and that no changes transpired as a result of P & Z ' s concerns . <br /> Comprehensive Plan Review- Mr. Ray Johnson reported that he had <br /> been asked to be a member of the comprehensive plan review task <br /> force which is being formed . Mr . Schumacher added that the first <br /> meeting of the comprehensive plan task force and the full Council <br /> will be January 15 , 1986 at 7 : 00 P . M . <br /> Mr . Ray Johnson moved to adjourn at 9 : 25 P . M . Seconded by Flannery . <br /> Aye . <br /> r <br />
