He asked the board their feeling on this . <br /> George said the board could voice unified support for <br /> consolidating with North Metro and becoming one recreation <br /> consortium. <br /> OTHER OLD BUSINESS: <br /> Joint Use - Anoka County: Paul said he talked to Margaret <br /> '"N Langfeld about joint use of county land for an athletic complex. <br /> She supported this idea, however, when he talked to John Von <br /> deLinde he was very negative and very offensive. Paul will <br /> contact Arnie Steferude at Met Council and then the House and <br /> Senate Legislators . <br /> Forest Lake Hockey Association: Marty said the board has been <br /> invited to a Forest Lake Hockey Association meeting on Wednesday, <br /> August 7, 1996, 7pm at the Forest Lake Senior Center. He <br /> explained this was an informational meeting pertaining to <br /> entering into a joint powers agreement for a community skating <br /> rink. <br /> George said if Lino was going to spend any money on this it would <br /> be spent in our community and not in someone elses . <br /> Rice Lake Estates Park Plan Meeting: Marty told the Park Board <br /> members that there would be a neighborhood meeting on Wednesday, <br /> August 21, 7pm, at Fire Station 2 , to review the master plan <br /> concept plan for the Rice Lake Estates/Baldwin Park joint use <br /> park.
