Februar1. 24, 1996
Cite of Lino Lakes
1.1.89 Main St.
Lino Lakes, MN 55014
ATTENTION: Mayor John .Landers
SUBJECT: THANTKS FOR A JOB WELL DONE!
Dear Mayor Landers:
I would like express our sincere appreciation for the excellent job that the Parks and Recreation
Department performed this winter on the area ice rinks. The_job was not an easy one (I know
after serving my time flooding other rinks), but your people prevailed against the elements to
provide the people of Lino Lakes with one of the finest activities in the area. The City Hall rink is
excellent, with the new boards and warming house; and even the "pond." ice was kept very high
quality. The ice at Lino Park was also very good, and every°one certainly appreciated the ne%V
warming house. Not only did you provide an excellent family activity for the area citizens, but also
allowed those of us in the immediate area to keep our children close to home, without having to
travel to Forest Lake or other area. My family and I have always considered myself very tuck-v to
have settled in Lino, and your efforts really a long way toward generating that sense of
"community" that sometimes seems to elude us. Thanks again, and please.express our sincere
appreciation to all of those involved.
Sinc •ely,
Dan Anderson
938 Lois Lane, Lino Lakes, XIN 55014
