Barry said it needs <br /> to be moved because of the debris that is dumped on the court <br /> during plowing in the winter. He said he was sure that there was <br /> another place, in the park, where the court could be moved to. <br /> There was also discussion on maintaining the fields . Pat said <br /> they hire kids to drag daily. They would also maintain yearly <br /> and improve if necessary. Barry asked what Little League would <br /> look to the city for maintenance. Pat responded mowing. Ray <br /> said there would not be any additional grassy areas with this <br /> reconstruction. <br /> George said he thought Little League had the support of the Park <br /> Board. He said they did not have any dedicated funds to give the <br /> Little League but could recommend some alternative funding <br /> sources . <br /> A poll was taken of the board and Pam, Betty, Paul, and George <br /> supported the project . Joe and Kim were concerned about taking <br /> away open space in the park. Joe said this only confirms that <br /> the city needs a recreation complex. They were also concerned <br /> about the impact on the neighborhood. <br /> RICE LAKE ESTATES PARK - UPDATE: <br /> Barry included a copy of an agreement proposal with the City of <br /> Circle Pines in the board members packets for Rice Lake Estates <br /> Park. <br /> George feels the agreement says the City of Lino Lakes will build <br /> and maintain our portion of the park and agrees to take <br /> responsibility <br /> Joe had questions about terms of the contract . He would like it <br /> to be a 10 year contract . <br /> 2 <br />
