City of Lino Lakes Park Board Meeting November 4, 1996 plan. Nothing is acceptable to his needs as of now. He has been asked to think more about this . Shenandoah Park: Joe wanted to know what is happening in this park. Marty said they are retrofitting playground equipment in this park. Joe was concerned about safety. Marty said if there is a hazard the equipment is removed from the park. Miscellaneous : Joe asked if there were any more problems with vandalism at Sunrise Park. Marty said the biff screen has been vandalized. Marty said there was also a problem at Country Lakes Park and Wenzel Farms Park. He said when this happens we need to deal with it immediately. Agenda Items Time Limits: Sharon asked if the Park Board could consider a time limit on agenda items so too much time is not spent on an agenda item. She recommended that guidelines be created and discussed at another n meeting. Sandie told the board of her past experience on how things are done at the Minnesota Legislature. She felt it is not unreasonable to put a time limit for pro/con/board discussion on agenda items . Mayor said the chair should ask people if they have anything new to add, to please state fact and get on with the item. He felt it was time to put this item to rest . George said he would meeting with Marty and Sandie to discuss this issue and set procedure to discuss at the next meeting. NORTH METRO CONSOLIDATION UPDATE: Marty said he and Barry were invited to a meeting with the North Metro Communities on October 8th. Previously, he was asked to respond to the question that were raised in the request for partnership. The answers are included in the member' s packets . He said the answers are based on his own subjective reasoning and staff feedback. He asked for feedback from the board. The next scheduled meeting with Circle Pines, Lexington, and Centerville is on November 21 . He would like to meet with Sharon and Joe prior to this meeting 7
