.r
November 6, 1996 Page 3
Board has been more than generous with the berms and the shrubs. Maybe a big
fence would have been a better idea. Also, it seems most of the residents surrounding
the park have landscaped into the park land (one even has a fire pit - is that legal?).
think my neighbor would be quite upset if I landscaped into his yard. Also, being these
residents have used park property as their own, I think each of the residents that
contributed to the park should have their own piece of the park to do with what they
want.
After the meeting on Monday I felt the time we spent on the petitions was worthless,
even though that was the procedure we were told to follow by the Park Board. If you
want the 400 residents that signed the petitions at the next meeting, I will do my best to
get them there - but who would have thought you would have to fight the Park Board to
put in a park.
Sincerely,
Teri Gave
6381 Painted Turtle Road
Lino Lakes, MN 55014
r 482-0576
cc:Marty Asleson
Mayor John Landers
Quad Community Press
r-.
