Council Member Bergeson introduced the following resolution and moved <br /> its adoption: <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98-30 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH ANOKA COUNTY <br /> REGARDING TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL AT ELM STREET AND LAKE DRIVE <br /> WHEREAS, Elm Street is under the jurisdiction of the City and Lake Drive (CSAH 23) is <br /> under the jurisdiction of Anoka County, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has completed a traffic control signal improvement at the <br /> intersection of Elm Street and CSAH 23, and <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 471.59 authorizes political subdivisions of the state to <br /> enter into joint powers agreements for the joint exercise of powers common to each; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br /> 1.
