KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES <br /> 1. Knowledge of the principles and practices of organizing and supervising <br /> recreational programs and activities. <br /> 2. Ability to plan, organize and supervise the work of temporary and seasonal <br /> employees. <br /> 3. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers, seasonal <br /> employees, volunteers and members of the public. <br /> 4. The ability to create imaginative and innovative programming, as well as the <br /> ability to market programs and services. <br /> 5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Pagemaker, Excel or Microsoft Word. <br /> REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS <br /> 1. Bachelor's Degree in Park and Recreation Administration, Leisure Services or related <br /> field, or the ability to complete within six (6)months. <br /> 2. Experience in the creation, implementation or supervision of recreation programs or <br /> activities. <br /> 3. Valid Class C Driver's License. <br /> DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS <br /> 1. One (1) to two (2)years of experience in the recreational department of a municipality. <br /> 2. One (1)to two (2)years of experience working with youth or teen groups. <br /> 3.
