Park Board Member <br /> Page-2- <br /> 6. Review engineering and site plans for city improvements that may change the <br /> characteristics of any city park or proposed park land. <br /> 7. Works with Anoka.County on development occurring on regional parks and trails located <br /> within Lino Lakes. <br /> 8. Regular attendance at Park Board or special meetings is expected; attendance at special <br /> events related to board or department activities is encouraged. <br /> KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS AND ABILITIES <br /> 1. Ability to meet the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. <br /> 2. Ability to read and comprehend maps,land use applications and city policies <br /> as they relate to park and recreation. <br /> 3. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers and members <br /> of the public. <br /> 4. Knowledge of budgets and public funding principles. <br /> 5. The ability to maintain effective working relationships with fellow board members, <br /> city personnel, and members of the public. <br /> 6_ The ability to stay current on trends and development in the areas of parks,recreation <br /> and trails. <br /> 7. Knowledge of park and trail layout and design,turf management, coaching and <br /> instructing. <br /> LREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS <br /> 1. Resident of Lino Lakes. <br />
