City of Lino Lakes <br /> Park Board Meeting <br /> November 2, 1998 <br /> The November 2 , 1998 City of Lino Lakes Park Board meeting was <br /> called to order at 6 : 34pm, by George Lindy, Chair. <br /> Roll call was taken, members present were Jeff Reinert, George <br /> Lindy, Pam Taschuk, Sharon Lane, Pat Huelman, Joe Schmidt, and <br /> Paul Montain. <br /> Also present were Rick DeGardner, Public Services Director, <br /> Sandie Wood, Office Manager, and Liz Bursack, Program Supervisor. <br /> APPROVAL OF OCTOBER 5, 1998 MINUTES: <br /> Sharon noted that page 5, paragraph 3 , should read "playground is <br /> scheduled" . Page 6, paragraph 6, should read "sitting area <br /> will" . <br /> Paul Montain made a motion, seconded by Pat Huelman, to approve <br /> the amended October 5, 1998 minutes . The minutes were approved. <br /> SETTING THE AGENDA: <br /> The agenda was passed as presented. <br /> �. OPEN MIKE• <br /> No one was present for open mike. <br /> Rick noted a resident brought in photographs from the Shenandoah <br /> Park installation. The residents there are very appreciative of <br /> the new equipment . <br /> WENZEL FARMS TRAIL: <br /> Rick stated that on October 27, 1998, Ken Swanson, a member of <br /> the Wenzel Farms Townhome Association Board, contacted him and <br /> indicated that the Board has decided to grant the necessary <br /> easements to allow the City to complete the trail system. <br /> Rick recommended the City enter into an agreement with the Wenzel <br /> Farms Townhome Association with the following stipulations . The <br /> Townhome Association will provide the following: <br /> 1 . Sign the additional 8 ' easement along the southern property <br /> line that was approved at the November 26, 1996, Council <br /> meeting. <br /> 2 . Approve a new trail easement along the western boundary for <br /> the development . <br /> 3 . If necessary, approve construction easement for construction <br /> of the bridge . <br /> 1 <br />
