Fall Program Highlights <br /> Holiday Events <br /> ♦ Breakfast with Santa, scheduled for December 12, was filled as of <br /> October 21 and a waiting list was started. <br /> ♦ Letters from Santa registrations are still being accepted. Letters will be <br /> mailed approximately December 18 to ensure arrival for Christmas. <br /> Youth Programs <br /> ♦ We are presently winding down our soccer program. The season will <br /> conclude on Saturday, October 31. <br /> ♦ The youth dance program is gaining in popularity. We anticipate offering additional classes this <br /> winter season. <br /> ♦ Other ongoing programs are: Martial Arts and Fastpitch Pitching Clinics <br /> ♦ Youth winter activities include: "Wild Away For A Day Trips"to the Harriet Alexander Nature <br /> Center, and to Wargo Nature Center, Ski Trips to Wild Mountain and Trollhaugen, Timberwolves <br /> trip, and a New Year's Eve event that includes a trip to the Imation IMAX. <br /> ♦ New programs: Toss, Kick and Catch- a parent/child preschool program designed to teach basic <br /> sport fundamentals will begin in this winter season. <br /> Adult Programs <br /> ♦ The 3 vs. 3-basketball program is the largest it has ever been with 14 teams registered. <br /> ♦ The Aerobics fitness programs are still very strong. <br /> ♦ Registration for the 5 vs. 5-basketball program is in progress. <br /> ♦ The adult fall volleyball program is underway. <br /> Other <br /> ♦ The Department is currently accepting applications and conducting interviews <br /> for the upcoming warminghouse season.
