Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department FAMILY TURKEY SHOOT Welcome to the first annual Family Turkey Shoot co-sponsored by the Circle-Lex Lions, the Circle-Lex VFW Post#6583, and the Forest Lake Area Athletic Association. Registration 1. All parent/child teams must sign up at the registration table. 2. Be sure to pick up your official scorecard. 3. Fill in your name, child's name, telephone number and child's age on the scorecard. �Ail A Scoring l. Parents and children will each receive five throws, or shots, at each event. 2. Each successful throw, or shot, will be scored as one point for the parent/child team. 3. Any participant scoring on all five attempts in the same event will receive an additional "Bonus"point. 4. An adult participating with more than one child will be required to take part in each event only once. The same score will be placed on each child's score sheet. 5. The judges at each event will determine the points scored. 6. After completing all of the events, turn your scorecard in at the scorer's table. 7. Ties will be broken according to the following procedures: a. The team with the highest number of bonus points will be the winner. b. If teams are still tied, the team with the highest number of points earned by the child will be the winner. Refreshments When you have completed the competition, we invite you to stay and enjoy some refreshments. Awards 1. All winners will be notified by phone. Winners need not be present to win. 2. Gift certificates will be awarded to the top two teams in each division. 3. All participants will be entered into a drawing to win additional gift certificates. 4. Limit of one gift certificate per family. 5. All winners will be contacted by phone on November 17.
