City of Lino Lakes <br /> Park Board Meeting <br /> August 3, 1998 <br /> The August 3, 1998 City of Lino Lakes Park Board meeting was <br /> called to order at 6: 35pm, by George Lindy, Chair. <br /> Roll call was taken, members present were Jeff Reinert, George <br /> Lindy, Pam Taschuk, Sharon Lane, Pat Huelman, Joe Schmidt, and <br /> Paul Montain. <br /> Also present were Rick DeGardner, Parks and Recreation Director, <br /> Sandie Wood, Office Manager, and Brian Wessel, Community <br /> Development Director. <br /> APPROVAL OF July 6, 1998 MINUTES: <br /> Pat Huelman made a motion, seconded by Paul Montain, to approve <br /> the July 6, 1998 minutes . The minutes were approved. <br /> SETTING THE AGENDA: <br /> The Agenda was passed as presented. <br /> OPEN MIKE • <br /> No one was present for open mike. <br /> UPDATE OF "THE VILLAGE" - BRIAN WESSEL: <br /> n Mr. Wessel, Community Development Director, gave the Park Board a <br /> brief background and update on the status regarding The Village. <br /> He included a brief overview of the Village Green, Community <br /> Center, and City Complex. <br /> Concerns were brought up by the Park Board regarding trail <br /> systems, number of business' s within the Village Center, <br /> connections between the four corners of the Town Center, traffic <br /> control on Lake Drive, and the connection of the Centennial <br /> Middle School . <br /> Brian indicated The Village has been very carefully planned and <br /> all concerns addressed. He noted there are very specific rules <br /> regarding Park Dedication Fees . He stated he is available to <br /> answer any questions regarding Park Dedication Fees at any time <br /> in the future. <br /> Rick thanked Brian for his presentation. <br /> REVIEW CLEARWATER CREEK 3RD ADDITION - PRELIMINARY PLAT: <br /> Rick stated that Mr. Mike Quigley, Gor-em, LLC, is present to <br /> review the Clearwater Creek 3rd Addition. This is a 31 . 87 acre <br /> development located directly south of the Clearwater Creek 1st <br /> and 2nd Additions . <br /> � The Comprehensive Park Plan indicates the need for a 10 acre <br /> neighborhood park in this area (park name N-15, Page 6-66) . <br /> 1 <br />
