Council Member Lyden introduced the following resolution <br /> and moved its adoption: <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 92 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CIRCLE-LEX VFW POST #6583 <br /> FOR RESERVE PROGRAM <br /> WHEREAS, equipment is needed for the Lino Lakes Police Reserve <br /> program, <br /> WHEREAS, funding for this equipment was not included as a Police <br /> Department budget item, <br /> WHEREAS, the Circle-Lex VFW Post #6583 has made a donation in <br /> the amount of $500 . 00 to the City of Lino Lakes toward <br /> the purchase of this needed equipment; and <br /> WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in <br /> the following manner: <br /> Increase Revenue - Contributions $500 . 00 <br /> Increase Expenditures-Police <br /> Uniforms $500 . 00 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes <br /> hereby accepts the donation of $500. 00 toward the cost of <br /> equipment for the Reserve program and wishes to express its <br /> gratitude to the Circle-Lex VFW P*Ke <br /> fo ' ts donation. <br /> Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Cos 22n day of June, <br /> 1998 . <br /> ullivan, Mayor <br /> Marilyn G. Anderson, Clerk-Treasurer <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br /> seconded by Council Member Dahl and upon vote being <br /> taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof : Dahl, Lyden, <br /> Sullivan. <br /> The following voted against same : none, Council Members Bergeson and <br /> Neal were absent. <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
