Council Member Dahl introduced the following resolution <br /> and moved its adoption: <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 98 - 93 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CIRCLE-LEX LADIES <br /> AUXILIARY VFW POST #6583 FOR RESERVE PROGRAM <br /> WHEREAS, equipment is needed for the Lino Lakes Police Reserve <br /> program, <br /> WHEREAS, funding for this equipment was not included as a Police <br /> Department budget item, <br /> WHEREAS, the Circle-Lex Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #6583 has made <br /> a donation in the amount of $350 . 00 to the City of Lino <br /> Lakes toward the purchase of this needed equipment; and <br /> WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the General Fund in <br /> the following manner: <br /> Increase Revenue - Contributions $350 . 00 <br /> Increase Expenditures-Police <br /> ^� Uniforms $350 . 00 <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes <br /> hereby accepts the donation of $350 . 00 toward the cost of <br /> equipment for the Reserve program and wishes to express its <br /> gratitude to the Circle-Lex Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post #6583 for <br /> its donation. <br /> Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Cou Ic "is2nday of June, <br /> 1998 . <br /> K' e 1 ullivan, Mayor <br /> Ma ilyn 6.
