City of Lino Lakes <br /> Park Board Meeting <br /> July 6, 1999 <br /> The July 6, 1999 City of Lino Lakes Park Board meeting was <br /> called to order at 6 : 30pm, by George Lindy, Chair. <br /> Roll call was taken, members present were Jeff Reinert, George <br /> Lindy, Pat Huelman, Joe Boyle, and Paul Montain. Members absent <br /> were Pam Taschuk and Chris Welsand. <br /> Also present were Rick DeGardner, Public Services Director, and <br /> Sandie Wood, Office Manager. <br /> APPROVAL OF June 7, 1999 MINUTES: <br /> Paul Montain made a motion, seconded by Joe Boyle, to approve the <br /> June 7, 1999 minutes . The minutes were approved. <br /> SETTING THE AGENDA: <br /> Rick removed Item #5, Discussion of Comp Plan - Mayor Sullivan. <br /> Rick replaced Item #5 with Review Park Dedication for Highland <br /> Meadows East Subdivision. <br /> Rick added Wenzel Farms Trail Clearing to Item #11, New Business . <br /> Chair Lindy added Joint Meeting with Hugo Park Board, Washington <br /> County, Anoka County, and Lino Lakes to New Business also. <br /> The amended Agenda was passed as presented. <br /> OPEN MIKEā¢ <br /> No one was present for open mike. <br /> REVIEW PARK DEDICATION FOR HIGHLAND MEADOWS EAST SUBDIVISION: <br /> Rick referred to the preliminary plat for Highland Meadows East . <br /> The plat indicates subdividing the area into seven single family <br /> residential lots and two outlots . Two of the single family <br /> residential lots have existing homes . Rick recommended that the <br /> developer pay $500 each for the remaining five lots to fulfill <br /> the park dedication requirements . This amounts to $2 , 500 . <br /> Paul asked if the area is south of County Road 14 . Mr. Bruce <br /> Kerber, North Suburban Development Inc . , came forward and stated <br /> the area is on 79th Street east of Highland Meadows Park. <br /> Chair Lindy stated the funds should be designated to go towards <br /> Highland Meadows Park. He stated that a cash dedication is <br /> appropriate in this case. <br /> 1 <br />
