City of Lino Lakes Park Board Meeting April 5, 1999 The April 5, 1999 City of Lino Lakes Park Board meeting was called to order at 6 : 33pm, by Chair George Lindy. Roll call was taken, members present were George Lindy, Pat Huelman, Pam Taschuk, Jeff Reinert, Chris Welsand, Joe Boyle, and Paul Montain. Also present were Rick DeGardner, Public Services Director, Sandie Wood, Office Manager. APPROVAL OF MARCH 1, 1999 MINUTES: Paul Montain made a motion, seconded by Pam Taschuk, to approve the March 1, 1999 minutes . The minutes were approved with Jeff Reinert, Chris Welsand, and Joe Boyle abstaining. SETTING THE AGENDA: The Agenda was passed as presented. OPEN MIKE: Ms . Sharon Lane, previous Park Board member, came forward and stated she has been appointed to the Planning and Zoning Board. 101*1.1 She thanked the Park Board for the five years she served. She stated she enjoyed her time on the Park Board and learned a lot . She stated she is happy to see more interest from residents regarding City boards . Paul thanked Sharon and Joe for there time and effort regarding the Park Board. He wished both of them good luck in the future . WELCOME AND INTRODUCTION OF NEW PARK BOARD MEMBERS: Rick introduced and welcomed the new Park Board members, Ms . Chris Welsand and Mr. Joe Boyle . Rick advised each member of the Park Board received a current list of members with their address and phone number. Determine Park Liaisons - Rick advised the Park Board to assign Park Liaisons . He referred to a list of the 1998 Park Liaisons and asked that the Park Liaisons for each park be assigned at the next meeting. REVIEW PROPOSAL RELATED TO BEHM' S CENTURY FARM PARK: Rick stated Mr. Uhde has submitted a proposal to purchase 135' x 80' lots along Mustang Lane for $10, 000 each. Each lot along Palomino Lane would be $5, 000 . 1
