CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JANUARY 6, 1999 <br /> 62ND STREET <br /> Andy reported the resident that is gathering petitions in the Ware Road/62nd Street area is <br /> concerned about a meeting that will be held with Mr. Carlson while it is so cold. The <br /> resident has indicated she is not against Mr. Carlson's new subdivision but rather the <br /> extension of West Shadow Lake Road to 62nd Street. <br /> This issue will come before Council in the future. <br /> CHRIS LYDEN'S BACKYARD <br /> Chris reported 30-40 acres in his backyard is flooding and some use of his land has been <br /> lost. It <br /> was also decided e urrciI hould adopt a motion extending the current board and <br /> group members terms arch 1, 1999. <br /> e <br /> N-M <br /> * <br /> BOARD APPOINTI&WS <br /> Kim asked that a schedule be determined so there is a target date for completion of the <br /> interviews for advisory boards and groups. It was determined that interviews will be held <br /> on January 13, 1999, 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Interviews will also take place on <br /> February 3, February 8, and February 17, 1999. An hour will be added to each Council <br /> meeting on those dates. <br /> It was the consensus of Council to make a motion on Monday right that all Board <br /> appointments will be effective March 1, 1999. <br /> It was noted that appointed board and group members serve at the pleasure of the City <br /> Council <br /> 3 <br />
