CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION JANUARY 6, 1999 Dan was directed to contact Dennis Cheesebrow to determine if he would be available to attend an all day goal setting meeting on Saturday, February 6, 1999 at Wargo Nature Center. The same format used in 1998 will be used. DISCUSSION OF MINUTES,KIM SULLIVAN Kim clarified the process for discussion of items on the Consent Agenda. If a Council Member wishes to discuss an item on the consent agenda,that item should be pulled from the consent agenda at the time the agenda is set. DISCUSSION OTS (INDIVIDUAL SEWAGE TREATMENT SYSTEMS), JOHN POWELL 2 John explained the City must follow the most restrictive ISTS ordinance. At this time,the Anoka County ISTS is the most restrictive. Since ISTS rules have been changed,he has requested and is awaiting receipt of the Anoka County ISTS. The City will have to change their ISTS Ordinance. A new Ordinance will be developed within the next month or so. The City will communicate the ISTS changes and the new Ordinance to residents via the City newsletter. Staff will also develop a reminder of the three (3)year inspection cycle schedule to residents. 2
