COUNCIL MINUTES January 25, 1999 <br /> 4. Parking facilities are shared with the correction facility to the south as indicated <br /> by the applicant. <br /> 5. The expanded parking area is provided with bituminous surfacing and concrete <br /> curb and gutter as approved by the City Engineer. <br /> Council Member Bergeson seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> A representative from the facility came forward and indicated he is available to the Police Chief <br /> for discussions regarding a holding cell. <br /> Conditional Use Permit/Planned Development Overlay,Prelimin <br /> JADT/McDonalds,Lake Drive at Apollo Drive(Extended),Al 'us on adoption of <br /> the agenda,this item was removed. <br /> Consideration of Joint Powers Agreement with the Wa.= a o istrict for Trooper <br /> Chairs,Mary Alice Divine-Ms. Divine stated the agree t e City access to the <br /> Wayzata School District contract so the City can pur eel cooper chairs at a very good <br /> price. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> Consideration of Amend en ivab a Communities Demonstration Account <br /> Contract,Mary Alice Di 'vine stated the Metropolitan Council has agreed to amend <br /> the Lino Lakes contract v expenses since the purpose of the funding is to use a <br /> California based Traditio ighborhood Development planner, Calthorpe Associates,to <br /> complete the desi T Center. <br /> It was determined ttu m would be tabled due to the 3/5 vote requirement. <br /> Council Member Bergeson moved to table the Amendment to the Livable Communities <br /> Demonstration Account Contract. Council Member Lyden seconded the motion. Motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> PUBLIC SAFETY REPORT,DAN TESCH <br /> Consideration of Resignation of Police Officer-Mr. Tesch stated that Officer Willie Koch has <br /> submitted a letter of resignation from the Lino Lakes Police Department citing his pursuit of <br /> other employment. <br /> 5 <br />
