Council Member Dahl introduced the following <br /> resolution and moved its adoption. <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. M-O S <br /> A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE LEAGUE OF MINNESOTA <br /> CITIES <br /> WHEREAS, Mayor Sullivan was the recipient of a $500 prize <br /> donated by the League of Minnesota Cities; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department <br /> submitted an Essay on how they could best make use of <br /> the money for their department; and; <br /> WHEREAS, the money will be appropriated to purchase a sound <br /> system to enhance several recreation programs . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes <br /> hereby accepts the donation of $500 . 00 to purchase a sound <br /> system for recreation programs and wishes to express its <br /> 00OWN gratitude to the League of Minnesota Cities for its donation. <br /> Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Counci his 8t ay of February, <br /> 1999. t <br /> ` V v <br /> K ee ly Sullivan <br /> E as r <br /> S a 4 �� erl <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br /> seconded by Council Member Bergeson and upon vote being <br /> taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof : Bergeson, <br /> Dahl, Lyden, Sullivan <br /> The following against same : Council Member Neal was absent. <br /> Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
