Soard Members <br /> FROM: Liz 5ursacr., program Supervisor <br /> RE: tggg Summer playground program <br /> 1111 Summer PIaiground <br /> Beginning the summer of 1999,the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department will be <br /> charging a fee for its summer playground program. <br /> The following will be supplied for a fee of $25lparticipant: (maximum $50 per family) <br /> • Seven Week Playground Program <br /> Monday—Friday, June 14—July 30, 1999, 1:00 pm—4:30 pm (no program July 2 and 5) <br /> • Playground T-shirt <br /> • Specialty Programs <br /> Specialty instructors in areas such as arts-n-crafts and environmental education will visit <br /> the playgrounds throughout the summer to lead special programs and craft projects. <br /> • Theme weeks at the playground sites <br /> Each week at the playground will revolve around a theme. These themes are designed to <br /> provide participants with opportunities to learn and experience new activities in an <br /> exciting playground atmosphere. <br /> • Summer playground finale <br /> Fee will cover finale activities as well as transportation of participants to and from the <br /> finale. <br /> Additional Costs will be charged for the following: <br /> • Guest fee <br /> A$3.00 per day guest fee will be charged for all non-registered playground participants. <br /> Guests will need to return a permission slip, signed and completed by their parent,to the <br /> Park and Recreation office at least two days prior to their visit. <br /> /OON • "Wild Away For A Day"trips— 1999 Trip Ideas: MN ZOO, Valleyfair,Wild Mountain <br /> Water Park <br />
