W
The Mayor also pointed out that building in the City does not
seem to be slowing down. He thanked the Park Board and
expressed his appreciation for the interest they have shown
with the recreation issues. Mayor Bisel complimented the Park
Board for the way they handled the Lakecrest issue. He said
he is not sure just what determination will be made on
reducing the size of the Park Board, he hopes that matter
will be addressed at the next Council meeting.
Ray Johnson asked the Mayor if the Comprehensive Park Plan,
when finished, will be able to be incorporated into the City
Comprehensive Plan. Mayor Bisel says "yes", and pointed out
the eastern part of the City to be developed yet, and that we
should be ready for it. He also stated that he would prefer
to see the issue of multiple dwellings handled in the park
dedication formula. He thinks things should get set up now
before the need is there.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:04 PM.
PAGE 6
