CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 513 <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Rick DeGardner, Public Services Director <br />MEETING DATE: September 13, 2021 <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution 21-935 Approving DSGW Architectural <br />Services Proposal <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The Council is being asked to approve an interior design and architectural services proposal for <br />the Recreation Center, <br />BACKGROUND <br />Prior to reopening, the existing facility is in need of renovation and enhancements including <br />revamped locker rooms, wall and floor finishes, interior signage, and FFE. We are also <br />exploring the feasibility of combining existing rooms to create a birthday party/meeting room. <br />Attached is the proposal from DSGW Architecture outlining the project scope and phasing <br />plan.
