He added the timeline of the moratorium is set to no more <br /> than one year; however, as soon as the City completes the zoning ordinance and it is <br /> adopted then the moratorium will be terminated. <br /> Mr. Laden encouraged staff to unbundle the mini self-storage facilities ordinance <br /> amendment from the zoning ordinance update and move forward on the amendment <br /> process quickly. <br /> Mr. Root made a MOTION to recommend approval of the interim ordinance creating <br /> a moratorium for mini self-storage facilities. Motion was supported by Mr. Reinert. <br /> Motion carried 5 — 1. Chair Tralle abstained. <br /> VII. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> A.
