COUNCIL MINUTES <br />DRAFT <br />1 <br /> 1 <br />LINO LAKES CITY COUNCIL 2 <br />REGULAR MEETING 3 <br />MINUTES 4 <br /> 5 <br />DATE : April 26, 2021 6 <br />TIME STARTED : 6:30 p.m. 7 <br />TIME ENDED : 7:08 p.m. 8 <br />MEMBERS PRESENT : Councilmember Stoesz, Lyden, 9 <br /> Ruhland, Cavegn and Mayor Rafferty 10 <br />MEMBERS ABSENT : 11 <br /> 12 <br />Staff members present: City Administrator Sarah Cotton; Public Safety Director John Swenson; 13 <br />City Engineer Diane Hankee; City Planner Katie Larsen; City Clerk Julie Bartell 14 <br /> 15 <br />PUBLIC COMMENT 16 <br />Paul Lesch, American Legion Board and city resident, expressed concern that too many things are 17 <br />being cancelled by the City. The American Legion is wondering if they should step forward and 18 <br />sponsor some of those events (i.e. Lino Lakes Ambassadors, Blue Heron Days, Corn Feed). They’d 19 <br />like to see people still have the opportunity. 20 <br />SETTING THE AGENDA 21 <br />The agenda was approved as presented. 22 <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATION 23 <br />Presentation of Certificate of Recognition – Eagle Scout Zach Cardille – A certificate was presented 24 <br />by Mayor Rafferty. A letter from Anoka County Commissioner Jeff Reinert was also read. 25 <br />PROCLAMATION 26 <br />Mayor Rafferty read a proclamation regarding Arbor Day. 27 <br />CONSENT AGENDA 28 <br />Councilmember Ruhland moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Items 1A through 1E as presented. 29 <br />Councilmember Lyden seconded the motion.
