COUNCIL MINUTES DRAFT 1 1 LINO LAKES CITY COUNCIL 2 REGULAR MEETING 3 MINUTES 4 5 DATE : May 24, 2021 6 TIME STARTED : 6:30 p.m. 7 TIME ENDED : 6:50 p.m. 8 MEMBERS PRESENT : Councilmember Stoesz, Lyden, 9 Ruhland, Cavegn and Mayor Rafferty 10 MEMBERS ABSENT : 11 12 Staff members present: City Administrator Sarah Cotton; Public Safety Director John Swenson; 13 City Clerk Julie Bartell 14 15 PUBLIC COMMENT – Bernadine Skoglund, 7481 Lake Drive – provided photos from the 16 Holiday station next to her home and asked if the City ordinance been revised? There is a truck 17 parking in the lot overnight. She also noted a recent incident where a vehicle was attached to the 18 guardrail at the back of the lot. She doesn’t want this situation to get out of control so there are 18 19 semi trucks parking there at all times. It is important that the management of the station be aware of 20 City regulations and management tends to change every few years. 21 22 Mayor Rafferty told Ms. Skoglund that what she has reported will be investigated. 23 SETTING THE AGENDA 24 The agenda was approved as presented. 25 CONSENT AGENDA 26 Councilmember Lyden moved to approve the Consent Agenda, Items 1A through 1H as presented. 27 Councilmember Ruhland seconded the motion.
