The situation is as safe as staff can achieve. 43 <br /> 44 <br />Councilmember Lyden expressed concern about the left turn at Centerville Road and Ash Street. 45 <br />Director Swenson said staff has expressed similar concern to Anoka County, not only with this 46 <br />event but with the detour. It is not currently the County’s intent to add traffic control but they will 47 <br />add signage. 48 <br /> 49 <br />Mayor Rafferty remarked that it’s a good thing to assist in making this event work but it is 50 <br />obviously something that requires good planning including by the City. 51 <br />Councilmember Cavegn moved to approve the special event permit with conditions established by 52 <br />the Public Safety Division. Councilmember Lyden seconded the motion.
