The requirements of receiving such a license are included in the City Code. Moxie Services 53 <br />MN LLC, dba Joshua’s Pest Control, has submitted an application for a Peddler License. Based on 54 <br />findings of a staff review and background check, it has been determined that the applicant does not 55 <br />meet the requirements of the city code. Specific information and findings are included in the staff 56 <br />report. Staff requests council consideration of Resolution No. 21-95 denying the request for a 57 <br />Peddler’s License. 58 <br />Councilmember Lyden moved to approve Resolution No. 21-95 as presented. Councilmember 59 <br />Cavegn seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 60 <br />PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT 61 <br />There was no report from the Public Safety Department. 62 <br />PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT 63 <br />5A) Consider Resolution 21-92, Approving GameDay Sports Lino Lakes Recreation Center 64 <br />Brand/Marketing Proposal – Public Services Director DeGardner read his written report. Staff is 65 <br />proposing that the council approve a brand and marketing proposal by GameDay Sports for the Lino 66 <br />Lakes Recreation Center. The three basic elements will be brand development, a marketing plan, 67 <br />and grand opening events. Mr. DeGardner added that WSB & Associates is generously offering 68 <br />services of two of their staff members to assist with the efforts. 69 <br />Councilmember Stoesz moved to approve Resolution No. 21-92 as presented. Councilmember 70 <br />Lyden seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 71 <br />5B) Consider Resolution 21-93, Approving DSGW Architectural Services Proposal – Public 72 <br />Services Director DeGardner explained that the resolution would approve proceeding with a 73 <br />proposal for architectural services. The proposal for services is included in the staff report and 74 <br />includes basic services related to basic renovation and enhancements for the facility. 75 <br />Councilmember Stoesz asked if it would be appropriate to request that part of this process include 76 <br />looking at opening the park outside the center. Mr. DeGardner explained that wouldn’t be in the 77 <br />scope of this work. 78 <br />Councilmember Cavegn moved to approve Resolution No. 21-93 as presented. Councilmember 79 <br />Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 80
