1 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 6D <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Diane Hankee, City Engineer <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: November 8, 2021 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 21-135, Approving Development <br />Agreement Early Site Work / Grading Only, Belland Farms <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />Staff is requesting City Council consideration of the Development Agreement Early Site Work <br />/ Grading Only for Belland Farms. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />On November 8, 2021, the City Council will consider approval of the preliminary plat for <br />Belland Farms. The property owner, Rehbein Properties, would like start grading on the site <br />while working through Final Plat approvals. The agreement states that grading prior to Final <br />Plat approval is at the Developer’s risk. The City’s subdivision ordinance requires the <br />execution of a development agreement between the Developer and the City. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff recommends adoption of Resolution No. 21-135, approving the Development Agreement <br />Early Site Work / Grading Only for Belland Farms. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
